The Name
Many people have asked us about the name, "C6 Recruitment", and what the "C6" stands for.
C6 represents the element carbon, the attributes of which are a wonderful metaphor for the myriad of people we work with.
Diamonds are a form of carbon. Their name comes from a Greek term meaning invincible and they are valued for their brilliance. A great recruiter recognises a 'diamond in the rough'.
Graphite is another form of carbon. Valued for its chemical stability it also acts as a conductor of current, in much the same way that an experienced Executive Assistant manages office workflows in a dynamic but calm manner.
Organic chemistry is the study of carbon based compounds, many of which are made up of hundreds of connected elements. We believe these connections are representative of relationships between people and the way people are connected to each other in so many ways.
